The Revista Paulista de Enfermagem-REPEn was founded in 1981 and it currently adopts the electronic format, open access, quarterly publication and thematic issues. In its course, there was an interruption to the publication from April 2009 to October 2018. 

Mission:  To provide the dissemination of knowledge regarding the scientific production from different knowledge areas that is in the interest of Nursing, including the knowledge area that expresses the political design of the Brazilian Association of Nursing- Section São Paulo.  Its publication will be conducted by means of arbitration of articles that promote the knowledge in the field of assistance, teaching and research compromised with the ethics and good practices of scientific research. 

The Revista Paulista de Enfermagem-REPEn receives manuscripts in Portuguese, English and Spanish (author´s native language).  The categories of articles are: original article, literature review (integrative, systematic and narrative review), theoretical study, report of professional experience and letter to the editor.
