Profesionales de enfermería recién ingresados en un hospital universitario
costes directos de formación y no productividad

Objetivo: Medir los costos directos de los entrenamientos y de la no productividad de los profesionales de enfermería recién contratados en un hospital universitario. Método: Investigación cuantitativa, exploratoria-descriptiva y estudio de caso único. Los datos se obtuvieron durante los 30, 60 y 90 días de experiencia de cada recién contratado utilizando instrumentos para medir la no productividad, construidos según las especificaciones de las unidades de asignación de los recién contratados. El cálculo de los costos por profesional consistió en el tiempo de entrenamiento y la no productividad del recién contratado. Resultados: se realizaron 68 contrataciones, de las cuales 36 fueron auxiliares de enfermería, 27 técnicos de enfermería y cinco enfermeros. El costo directo de los entrenamientos y de la no productividad durante el período de experiencia fue de R$ 160.981,36, siendo el 55,75% relacionado con el entrenamiento y el 44,25% con la no productividad. Conclusión: Los resultados obtenidos contribuyen a la verticalización del conocimiento sobre la medición de los costos directos de los entrenamientos y de la no productividad.
